Warning: Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from bed tip over. In order to prevent overturning, this product must be used with the wall attachment device. To help prevent tip over: Install wall attachment device. Use ladder for entering and leaving upper bed. Prohibit horseplay on or under bed(s). Prohibit more than one person on upper bunk. Use of wall attachment device will reduce, but not eliminate the risk of tipping. Installation should be carried out exactly according these instructions – otherwise a safety risk can occur if incorrectly installed. Regularly check that anchors are securely maintained. Stability of tall items may be affected by thick pile carpet or uneven floors. Check for any electrical wires or plumbing inside the wall before drilling any holes (if you are unsure please seek professional advice from a qualified tradesperson). Your local hardware store will have the necessary drills and fixings and can offer advice if needed. If in doubt, engage the services of a qualified tradesperson to install and anchor the product. Bunk/High beds must be fitted with recommended mattresses before use. The bunk bed should be used in a ventilation place to prevent mould in and around the bed. The upper bed can only be accessed by treads, do not climb in by other means. Check regularly that all assembly fastenings are properly tightened. High beds and the upper bed of bunk beds are not suitable for children under six years due to the risk of injury from falls. Do not use the bunk bed/high bed if any structural part is broken or missing. Bunk beds and high beds can present a serious risk of injury from strangulation if not used correctly. Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed to be used with the bed, for example, but not limited to ropes, strings, cords, hooks, belts and bags. Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the top safety barrier and the wall shall not exceed 75 mm nor shall be more than 230 mm.
